Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company affiliated with Social Security Investment Company (SSIC) was established in 1983 under the name “Iran Pharmaceutical Development and Investment Company (IPDIC)” on a land area of 150 thousand square meters in Gilan province, Rasht industrial city. This company reached the operational stage in 1997 with modern and advanced machines and complete laboratory equipment. At the beginning, the products of this company were exclusive to injectable drugs, and since 2010, semi-solid medicinal forms (cream, ointment, gel and suppository) and oral solutions and syrups have been added to the company’s product portfolio. In 2015, in order to develop exports and in line with branding, the name of the company was changed to Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Co.
In 2014, Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company was honored to receive a stock market acceptance certificate from the Iran Exchange. In order to update the production lines, production devices and equipment in 1402, the improvement of the production lines was done and a new ready-to-inject syringe line (prefield) was also opened. All production processes are carried out based on GMP and WHO principles. This company currently produces and supplies 144 drugs to domestic markets and 65 drugs are exported to global markets. In line with the organizational mission, Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company considers sustainable development in the economic, social and environmental fields to be one of the main pillars of its management system by using expert and committed forces, and in this regard, the establishment of an Integrated Management System (IMS) based on the latest edition of ISO9001-2015, ISO14001-2015, ISO45001-2018, ISO10015-2019, ISO10002-2018 & ISO10004-2018 standards.
